Air Force pilot/engineer 1972-2002. Taught Astronautical Engineering on USAF Academy faculty 1982-1990. Served at American Embassy Moscow 1995-1997 and 1999-2001 as United States Air Attaché to the Russian Federation.

Since retiring from the Air Force in 2002, I've resided in Salisbury, North Carolina with wife Betsy. I travel as much as possible, often to visit sister Joan in Orlando, Florida; daughter Rachel, her spouse Joe and granddaughter Samantha near Indianapolis; and son Dylan near Seattle.

Happy Birthday, Hal! Hope you have a very special day, week, month and year! I enjoy your photos and seeing that you are having a good life! My husband has family in Asheville, Blowing Rock, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Valdese, NC. We visit often and have said if we could not life in middle or east TN we would want to be in NC. We love hiking and river cruising and the TN/NC area is wonderful! ... our family also has a condo at Myrtle Beach that is great.
We have a friend's daughter who is an OB/GYN in Salisbury and her husband is an attorney there.
Surprised our paths haven't crossed through the years! Continue to have fun and carry on!!
