Tiny was in typing class with me. We really had a good time in there. He had a big problem with typing. His fingers were too big and he would get them caught between the keys and have a hard time getting them out. We had some big laughs over that. He was really a nice guy, except when he got on the football field. Morw like Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde. We all loved him for his warm personality.
Richard Shea was close friends with Tiny and Tiny told him that when in college at Morehead he went to a party in a trailor. He was drinking alot of beer and had to relieve himself and he was to big to go in the trailor restroom so he went outside and leaned up against a tree and began to relieve himself and he didn't know that he poodied in his pants. Driving home that night his friends who he rode with smell something and ask everyone to check their shoes. In the dorm room everyone could still smell an odor. Taking off his clothes Tiny found out that his underwear was full. All of his dorm mates started laughing at him and he proceeded to run up and down the dorm hall naked and smelling and said to everyone, "if I catch you I will sit on you". I don't believe he caught anyone that night but to hear Richard tell it, it will bring tears to your eyes. Richard has told that joke many times.

I didn't personally know Leland, but knew that he was a big, gentle boy when we were at Lafayette, and I respected him.
