Lila and I had various classes together, and even shared a locker (or basket) for gym class. We rode the same bus while in high school. I liked her, and I am saddened to learn of her passing.
Lila and I were in Art together. She introduced me to professional grade colored pencils (not the map colors we used in school for Geography) which I still use today if I do mixed media. She was an incredible artist, also an amazing seamstress. She designed and sewed many garments, some of which she sold. I hope she got to use these skills in her chosen career as she was really gifted. RIP

She played flute in the band I think. We were in 2nd year French together with Miss Rowbotham, where Lila was known as "Lili" (I was Jacques).
