I was working with Bonnie at the Lexington, Ky. Police Department in 1974 when she developed breast cancer. We were coming to our 10th reunion together, but that night she was lying in state at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. Needless to say, I didn't make it to the Reunion. Bonnie was a divorced mother with three small children when she passed.
Bonnie worked as a dispatcher for the P.D. She had the sweetest, sexiest voice. Other dispatcher from all over Ky. would call L.P.D. just to talk with her.
